Online Exhibitions/Collections

The School of the Art Institute of Chicago is dedicated to the discovery and production of significant ideas and images that provide for the development of individual excellence. Through its studio and academic programs, the School seeks to maintain a creative atmosphere for interrogating these ideas and images in relation to contemporary culture.

As part of this discourse, the School's web-site hosts a variety of online documentation, exhibitions, collections and portfolio pages. These web-based resources provide an opportunity to examine the process and meaning of art making in a publicly accessible forum. These resources include archives of past exhibitions held either on the web-site or in the School's galleries, individual web pages/portfolios by current students and faculty at the School, and online documented collections.
