"In many
of the nation's famous artist's studios and house museums the
original environment... has been laboriously recreated after it
had been dismantled and dispersed... Rare is the home and studio
solution the Roger Brown Study Collection offers - a complete
house and art collection that represents not only the personal
interest of one of this nation's most creative artists... but
itself a nationally significant collection of outsider art and
found objects in its Roger
Brown designated context."

Artists' Museum Shop
The Roger Brown Study Collection Artists' Museum Shop has finally
expanded beyond its original, modest, location (in the dishwasher, which
is still stocked with items) into the garage. Sharing the space with
Roger Brown's 1967 Ford Mustang, our Flagship museum shop is
an ever-changing Garage Sale, curated and stocked by thrift shop
aficionado Jamie Young, SAIC alumna and RBSC volunteer. This
"artist's" garage sale is bulging with all manner of fascinating, previously-owned
treasures. The Garage Sale is open during all public tours and
by appointment. Proceeds directly benefit the Roger Brown Study Collection,
so, in the spirit of Roger Brown, please visit, and shop with instinct
and abandon!
Artists' Museum Shop items include:
