In the Loop is published twice a year for alumni, parents, faculty, and friends of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, keeping members of the School community informed about issues of concern to artists, designers, art educators, and arts administrators.
In the Loop features articles by and about artists and writers
such as Arjun Appadurai, Okwui Enwezor, Mary Jane Jacob, Bill T. Jones,
Grant Samuelsen, SAIC dean of faculty Carol Becker and president Tony
Jones. It is designed by alumna Georgia Bockos.
