More than 40 Alumni joined Tony Jones at the Roth Horowitz Anderson Gallery for the School's 2002 Los Angeles reception. Tony Jones brought guests up to date on the School's recent expansion and the accomplishments of alumni - including nine alumni artists (and faculty member Anne Wilson) in the 2002 Whitney Biennial and 2002 Oscar nominees Judianna Makovsky (BFA '76) and Joe Merideth (BFA '94).

Los Angeles Alumni President Meaghan Murphy urged guests to list their profiles on the California Alumni web page and announced plans for an online exhibition of California alumni work this fall. Guests also watched the California Alumni Video Quilt that was created for the 2001 Alumni Reunion in Chicago.
