Hot Spot 2002

"Hot Spot," a special benefit viewing of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago's annual "Undergraduate Exhibition" held on April 4, brought over 1,600 guests to 847 W. Jackson to celebrate 300 works in all media by students graduating from the School.  Sponsored by the School's Auxiliary Board, this art party raised over $10,000 for the School.  The evening's guests enjoyed drinks and food from Scoozi!, Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba!, and Popeye's, while having the opportunity to discuss the work with the student artists on-hand.  Duane Perolio was the tireless chair of this event along with his co-chairs, Adrienne Weiss, John Himmel and Nancy Loewenberg Young.
