Saturday, June 9 the Chicago Chapter hosted its annual spring party at the spectacular Columbia Yacht Club. Guests enjoyed a perfect summer evening on the top deck while enjoying food and drink, listening to the sounds of the Chicago Jazz Festival and watching fireworks off of Navy Pier later in the evening. The event included the presentation of the annual service awards with Maggie Phillips (BAE '53) receiving a Bronze Lion Plaque and Barbara Metz (MFA '77) receiving the Bronze Lion Award. Brand new alumna Jaime Arthur (BFA '01) was on hand to show off some of her stunning sail inspired fashion creations, and the Yacht Club provided a speaker to share the unique history of the ship with guests.
