Design
Statement "We are not afraid to follow the truth wherever it may lead" - Thomas Jefferson I believe that architecture is alive as any human is alive - when man no longer exists, the creation of architecture will perish also. It is the spirit and heart of mankind that breathes life and gives substance and meaning to the term architecture. When this human spirit is made manifest in good design, architecture like all creative endeavors transcends time. In essence
architecture is made once - yet it is experienced anew every time someone
encounters it. The true gift of architecture is a sublime presentation
of everyday life. In a larger sense, this gift is not apparent until it
is consumed - digested - absorbed and then settled into the heart of the
designer and the observer. In a way, true architectural design is a solitary
process - it is one being creating for the purpose of life and happiness,
it is a divine moment of inspiration when one human being shares a vision
of peace and love with another human being. Thus life is reborn through
the gift of art. The architect dares to dream for the benefit of society
as a whole - and then procures that dream in a work of art. Carlo
