Peter Lawford
Born Peter Sidney Lawford on September 7, 1923 in London, England.
Best known for marrying Patricia Kennedy, the sister of president John F Kennedy. He organized the famous 1962 birthday party for John F Kennedy, featuring Marilyn Monrow singing "Happy Birthday"
Peter made his film debut in 1931 in a British film called "Poor Old Bill." He was thrown into stardom and raised by Hollywood and MGM Studios in the late 1940's.
Peter was the first man to kiss Elizabeth Taylor on screen and the last to speak to Marilyn Monroe before she died.
Peter was a part of the ensenble cast films made by the Rat Pack. He and Frank Sinatra had a falling out that left them never to speak again, over Robert Kennedy's, Peter's brother-in-law, objections concerning Frank's alleged Mafia connections.
By 1972, his health was failing as a result of long-term alcholism. He died in 1984 of cardiac arrest.
