Joey Bishop

Born Joesph Abraham Gottlieb on February 3, 1918, in the Bronx, New York.

Joey was a comedian who made friends with Frank Sinatra, securing him a spot in the Rat Pack. He is responsible for much of the groups' comedic routines. He and Dean Martin are said to be the only ones to be able to tell jokes at Frank's expense.

He starred in his own talk show, "The Joey Bishop Show" in 1967 as well as a nighgttime talk show of the same name in the early 1960's. He was also a regular on the "Tonight Show."

He starred in two movies made by the Rat Pack, "Ocean's Eleven" and "Sargeant's Three," among other non-Rat Pack movies such as "Valley of the Dolls" and "Betsey's Wedding."
