Tim Needles

Here are a few of the sketchbook pages that I drew during the first few days. These were drawn mostly in class and you can observe how the pace of the days became more frantic. The amount and font of my free writing is something new that appeared in Chicago. I tend not to write much at all in my sketchbooks, but it's been an insightful and emotional experience so I documented some of it. Many of the sketches are of classmates from around the country and visiting artists that came to lecture. I should also mention that I'm in the middle of trying to find a mortgage for my first home so I attribute a chunk of the emotion to the very difficult task.
