Every year past participants are given the opportunity to apply to be a mentor teacher. This teacher can share with the group the possibilities and the potential for their classroom art projects that contemporary art practice can influence. The mentor teachers are there to provide guidance to the group through their past TICA experience. Interested candidiates for mentors will be selected based upon relevance of their teaching to contemporary art practice. One teacher is selected for each session including the studio extention. Mentors recieve their housing cost paid by TICA.
