An optional studio extension week directly follows each TICA session. This week of studio practice allows teachers to apply knowledge gained from their week to their own studio practice. Past teacher-participants acknowledge the importance of the extension week to their teaching and art practice. It is greatly encouraged that all teachers stay for the additional week. TICA provides the instructional faculty and studio space for the extension week.

Participants accepted for studio extension must pay for housing and their own meals and supplies. The housing charge for one week is $335.00.
