Michael
Rooks is assistant curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA)
in Chicago. In 1995, he received a Master s Degree of Arts in Modern Art History,
Theory, and Criticism from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. His upcoming
curatorial project, War (What is it Good For?) will open on January 18 at the
MCA. Other curatorial projects include Cut, Pulled, Colored, & Burnt at
the Hyde Park Art Center; 12x12: Kerry Skarbakka at the MCA; and, Gregg Bordowitz:
