Heather Darcy is a curator and artist manager at Mixed Greens in New York City. There, she co-curates the website and a number of external exhibitions in New York and beyond. Upcoming exhibitions include a Mixed Greens show in Philadelphia and an independent exhibition, False Idols, concerning the interface between religious passion and pop-culture.
Prior to Mixed Greens, Heather worked at Lehmann Maupin Gallery in New York City as the assistant to the directors and at Sonnabend Gallery as a gallery assistant. Her education includes a BA from Brown University in Visual Arts and Cultural Anthropology and an MFA from Pennsylvania State University in painting.
Mixed Greens promotes and supports visual artists and documentary filmmakers by selling art, exhibiting artwork, producing films and cultivating new collector bases. The company also helps create opportunities for artists to reach non-traditional audiences and to find outlets for their creativity outside regular channels.
