Emergency Contacts:
Each faculty member will have a cell phone while in India.  We will contact participants with these numbers in late December 2009. 

Cell Phones:
If one has an unlocked GSM phone that operates in the 900/1800 Mhz frequency range, you can easily get a SIM for use in India. Cell phones are also relatively inexpensive (+/- $60 US) in India.

Internet:
There is a computer room in our hotel in Downtown New Delhi. Our hotel in Jaipur has a computer room and Wi-Fi. Sanskriti has free Wi-Fi as well as a computer room, so students will have limited internet access during the research phase of the trip.
