Introduction to the Artists' Book
Introduction to the Project
Randolph Street Gallery Archives Project is a collaborative effort between four graduate students in Arts Administration at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and the Special Collections at the Flaxman Library at the School. The archives were donated to the School in 1998, and are currently in storage. The purpose of this project is to create a marketing tool to assist in the pursuit of funding to preserve and present the archives to the public. We conceived and produced an artists' book to achieve this aim.

About Us
The Randolph Street Gallery Archives Project aims to bring awareness to the archives and to be used as an aid in the cultivation of funds. The book features interviews with both administrators and participants of Randolph Street Gallery, essays, and selected materials from the archives on an interactive CD-ROM. In the spirit of Randolph Street Gallery our partnership with various collaborators made this project possible.
