March 10 - April 14, 2006. Field trips available
beginning March 13, 2006. Review the on-line calendar for available dates for Chicago Public School (CPS) gallery tours. Select three choices to include on the registration application.
A Registration Application must be completed, signed by participant teacher(s) and school principal, and faxed to the Betty Rymer Gallery at 312 443 1493. - The Betty Rymer Gallery can potentially accommodate 50 viewers in a single gallery visit. - Additional chaperones are required. One chaperone per every 8 students. - Once your registration is confirmed, the on-line calendar will reflect your appointment. - Please provide gallery with a completed and signed Consent Forms (download from website) for each expected guest. Mail package of forms to Betty Rymer Gallery, School of the Art Institute of Chicago, 280 S. Columbus Drive, Chicago IL 60603 Attention: CPS Field Trips. Combination
Field Trip Information
- Tours of the Art Institute are scheduled through the museums Student Tours Coordinator in a separate process. The applications for Art Institute visits are available at the following URL: http://www.artic.edu/aic/students/studentvisit.html - Tours of the Art Institute may be docent-guided or self-conducted. Both require reservations. Applications for all tours are now accepted four times per year. Completed Applications are accepted as follows: MAIL: Student Tours, The Art Institute of Chicago, 111 S. Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL 60603 FAX: (312) 606-0496 (A cover sheet is not necessary). - A tour confirmation or notification that the Art Institute is unable to accommodate your group will be mailed 23 weeks after receipt of your application. - Please
also supply the Betty Rymer Gallery with a copy of your confirmation
for the Art Institute tour, ensuring that Gallery staff will be aware
