Temporary Reserves

• Readers who anticipate returning to use material within a week's time are encouraged to place these items on Temporary Reserve at the Circulation Desk.
• The reserve period is two weeks and may be renewed.
• Open Shelf materials and current periodicals may not be placed on reserve.

SAIC Course Reserves

• Course reserves are located at the Circulation Desk in the Reading Room.
• To request reserve materials provide the course name, faculty name, and call number of the book to the Circulation Attendant.
• Reserve books must be used in the Reading Room and may be requested one at a time.

Staff Reserves

• Staff reserves are for the convenience of AIC staff who are involved in long-term research and may be established at any time.
• Materials may stay on Staff Reserves for the duration of the research project.
