32nd Annual Treasure Hunt and Tea Party: Everything Tells a Story
This popular family event includes a fun-filled expedition through the galleries and a tea party featuring live entertainment, refreshments and party favors. Choose from three start times—10:45, 12:00, or 1:30.

Open daily 10:30–5:00
Thursday until 8:00
The museum is closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.
Free Thursday Evenings
Admission to the Art Institute of Chicago is free to Illinois residents every Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
European Modern Art
The galleries of European modern art are currently closed for renovation and will reopen in April 2014.
