The Asian Art Council cordially invites you to join at one of the following membership levels:

Patron Levels

Gold ($5,000)
Gold-level patrons of the Asian Art Council provide the highest level of philanthropy to the AAC. This contribution provides critical financial support for the purchase of Asian art. Gold patrons enjoy:

  • All Silver-level benefits
  • Select opportunities to travel with curators to international destinations, such as Asia Week in London
  • Invitations for exclusive engagement with the museum director
  • Special opportunities to view and understand the permanent collection, interact with visiting scholars and artists, and visit exhibitions and private collections

Silver ($2,500)
Silver-level patrons enjoy:

  • All Bronze-level benefits
  • Special opportunities to engage with the chair and curators of the Department of Asian Art
  • Access to exclusive domestic travel opportunities with curators, such as Asia Week in New York City and trips to museum exhibitions
  • Special access to local private collections and exhibitions

Bronze ($750)
Bronze-level patrons enjoy:

  • All Family-level benefits
  • Special access to curators of select Asian art exhibitions at the Art Institute
  • Opportunities to gather with other patrons for special occasions
  • Curator-led excursions to Chicago-area Asian art exhibitions
  • Patron-level listing in theAsian Art Council Newsletter

Standard Membership Levels
Family ($300)
Family-level members enjoy:

  • All individual-level benefits
  • Special access to select Art Institute exhibitions of Asian art
  • Opportunities to bring a guest/spouse to any program at the discounted member price

Individual ($150)
Individual-level members enjoy:

  • Invitation to the Asian Art Council’s annual meeting in May and annual member-appreciation program in September
  • Invitation to member lectures, special exhibition events, and Asian Art Council programs, including Encounters with Asia, the annual lecture series focused on in-depth explorations of Asian art and culture
  • Complimentary subscription to the Asian Art Council Newsletter
