TEAM is a multiyear partnership between the Art Institute of Chicago and Chicago Public Schools that engages 4th- and 5th-grade classroom teachers and their students in sequential experiences with works of art to stimulate the development of critical and creative thinking skills. TEAM is an ongoing program at the Art Institute of Chicago, accepting a new cohort of teachers every two years. 19 teachers are currently participating in the 2016–18 cohort.

The Terra Foundation American Sources Program: Teachers Using Artworks as Primary Sources
American Sources is a yearlong teacher professional development course that engages a cohort of middle school and high school teachers of English, American studies, and social studies from Chicago public and suburban schools. The program focuses on using works of American art as primary source documents to address critical student skills, including analytical thinking, inquiry, research, and visual literacy. American Sources is an ongoing program at the Art Institute of Chicago that accepts a new group of teachers each year. 34 teachers are currently participating in the 2016-17 cohort.
