Village (Hinsdale)

Founded in late 1955, the Hinsdale Associates convened its first meeting in early 1956. In addition to residents of Hinsdale, membership was offered to other villages in close proximity. Eventually, the group's official name became Village Community Associates to reflect a wider geographic area.

A comprehensive variety of programs relating to art is planned and produced, all coordinated through the Art Institute of Chicago. Illustrated lectures are presented at the Art Institute, as well as locally. A seminar series, multiple trips, and an extended tour provide a stimulating and thought-provoking calendar of events to over 200 members each year.

Members reside in the following zip codes: 60521, 60527, 60558, 60514, 60523, 60525, 60515, 60561, 60526, and 60516.

Unless otherwise noted, programs are for Community Associates members only.
