The Textile Society is proud to support the Art Institute of Chicago’s Department of Textiles, one of the most comprehensive, international collections of textiles in the world.

The society furthers the appreciation and preservation of textiles by:

  • Sponsoring educational programs and events
  • Enhancing members’ knowledge and appreciation of textiles
  • Exploring diverse textile collections via trips and private tours
