Who are the Evening Associates?
Evening Associates are a diverse group young vibrant Chicagoans who share a common interest: to celebrate the arts through after-hours programming. They host events from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month.

How will I hear from Evening Associates?
Most of our correspondence will come to you via e-mail from eveningassociates@artic.edu. Please make sure that we have your current e-mail address so you are the first to know about our event schedule or updates.

What are the benefits of an Evening Associates membership?
In addition to the benefits of museum membership, Evening Associates enjoy:

  • Invitations to exclusive private receptions in the museum
  • Invitations to special events throughout the city
  • Exhibition tours
  • Regular e-mail updates regarding Evening Associates activities and news
  • Opportunity to connect with fellow art-inspired young professionals

How do I include my spouse or partner in my membership purchase?
Choose a membership level that includes a partner/spouse (e.g. not the Member or Student levels), then select the Dual Evening Associates option. Please be sure to complete the spouse/partner information.

What if I select a two-year base membership?
If you join the museum with a two-year base membership, you will need to select a two-year Evening Associates membership.

When will I receive my membership card?
New members will receive an e-mail confirmation after completing the purchase of a membership. Please allow two weeks to receive your membership cards in the mail.  Your card will denote your EA status.
