Sam Anderson-Ramos is an art critic and writer whose essays and art criticism have appeared in numerous venues both digitally and in print. The title of his lecture is “Renegades: War and Politics in Art.” War, like art, has been a constant in human history. Explore the ways in which the politics of violence and power have intersected with the ideals and ambitions of great artists, then and now.

Following the lecture, enjoy lunch at Tesori and a docent-led tour of the Pritzker Military Museum & Library.
