Multi-session sketch classes offer the chance to draw in the museum's galleries under the guidance of experienced instructors. All materials will be provided.

Understanding composition, the organization of visual elements, is an essential step in cultivating your drawing skills. In this class, you will learn how to explore and experiment with various compositional strategies by responding to works in the collection from diverse time periods and cultures.

As the focus of this class is less on building drawing skills and more about composing powerful pictures, some drawing experience is recommended although not required.
