Known for work that grapples with the complexities of class, race, and place in America, Los Angeles-based artist Rodney McMillian will recite a 1986 speech given by Clarence Thomas and sing three original songs in this performance engaging with history as an incomprehensible material that must be remembered and reformed.

Capacity for the performance is limited to seventy-five people and seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Doors open at 7:00pm.

Proudly presented with the South Side Community Art Center (SSCAC)
