Performance: Chicago Latino Music Festival—San Ignacio, Ópera de las misiones jesuíticas

In celebration of Doctrine and Devotion: Art of the Religious Orders in the Spanish Andes, a baroque ensemble, featuring soprano Michelle Areyzaga and led by Emanuale Andrizzi, performs an 18th-century opera about Saint Ignatius of Loyola, a work reconstructed by musicologist Piotr Nawrot from manuscripts found in the music archives of the Moxos and Chiquitos regions of Bolivia.

Tickets provide entry to the concert only; general admission tickets to the museum are sold separately.
