Read a nighttime story, visit the exhibition Play, Pretend, and Dream: Caldecott Medal and Honor Books, 2010–2013, and then create a work of art inspired by your favorite place to enjoy a dream-filled sleep.

The museum is closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.
Free Thursday Evenings
Admission to the Art Institute of Chicago is free to Illinois residents every Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
European Modern Art
The galleries of European modern art are currently closed for renovation and will reopen in April 2014.
