Tatiana Bilbao is principal of the Mexico-based Tatiana Bilbao S.C., founded in 2004. The multidisciplinary office has completed projects in Mexico, China, and Spain. The firm’s projects in Mexico include the Botanical Garden Culiacan; Funeral House, San Luis Potosi; Universe House designed with Gabriel Orozco, Puerto Escondido; Parque Biotecnologico, Culiacan; Centro de Artes Escenicas, Guadalajara; and Ventura House, Monterey. The firm also designed the Jinhua Architecture Park in Jinhua, China. Bilbao was named to Architectural Record’s Design Vanguard in 2007. Her work has been published in A+U, Domus, and the New York Times, among others. She studied architecture and urbanism at the Universidad Iberoamericana.
