Join Richard Ormond as he shares his insights on beloved American painter John Singer Sargent on the occasion of the special exhibition John Singer Sargent and Chicago's Gilded Age

About the Speaker
Author, biographer, and former museum director Richard Ormond is the author of the John Singer Sargent catalogue raisonné. He has written several books on the paintings of Sargent and other famous artists, and he is the grandson of Violet Sargent Ormond, sister of John Singer Sargent and the subject of many of Sargent's iconic paintings.
