Lecture: LaunchPad—Interactivity and Ancient Art

In this lecture, Rice Foundation Curatorial Fellow Katharine Raff will discuss her role in the development and production of LaunchPad, an engaging multimedia program of digital interpretive materials for the Mary and Michael Jaharis Galleries of Greek, Roman, and Byzantine Art. Raff will address numerous aspects of her work on the project, including the selection of artworks for the program, the production of media components, the writing of program content, and the benefits of using digital technology in the museum setting.
