Join Milos Stehlik, executive director, Facets Multimedia has he discusses the symbiotic but shifting relationship between film and fashion, the democratization of fashion through film and how 19th century fashion—particularly fan dancers—established a spectatorship and paradigm for the moving image.

In conjunction with the exhibition Impressionism, Fashion, and Modernity, there will also be a daylong symposium examining the relationship of fashion, art, and society on this date.
