In A Lot of Sorrow, a collaboration between Ragnar Kjartansson and the rock band The National, the latter plays their three-and-a-half minute song Sorrow repeatedly for six hours. Inspired by this extreme look at repetition and duration, this interactive gallery talk with Nenette Luarca-Shoaf explores the way that artists have pushed and pulled at the notion of time during the 20th and 21st centuries.
