From the resolutely utilitarian to the positively personal, screens protect us from prying eyes, moderate the heat of a fire, or demarcate architectural space. Artists may exploit these expansive supports for their compositions, or use materials in innovative ways. Join museum educator Annie Morse for a wide-ranging exploration of a number of noteworthy screens.
