Before there were fears that we’d get lost in our devices, there were moral panics about reading books: would it make women lose themselves in fantasy? Would it distract them from everyday life? Join Woman’s Board Fellow Alice Boone in exploring how artists have depicted the pleasures and dangers of reading.
