Gallery Talk: If the Shoe Fits ...

July 24, 2018
Meet in Gallery 100
Free with museum admission

Practical? Seductive? Bizarre? Wearing shoes is a necessity but our choice of footwear conveys something about who we are, what we do, our values, and how we wish to present ourselves to the world. Join Robin Schnur in an exploration of the social, historical, and personal implications of shoes as depicted in works of art from different time periods and cultures.
