When Helen Frankenthaler was invited to the Universal Limited Art Editions print workshop, she was unsure if her large-scale expressive technique would translate to lithography. Yet the experiments proved to be a creative boon for the artist, who called lithography “learning from and projecting onto the stone.” Join Woman’s Board Fellow Alice Boone for a study of the nearly complete collection of more than 50 prints from the U.L.A.E workshop.
