Gallery Talk: Doors of Perception

June 29, 2018
Meet in Gallery 100
Free with museum admission

The doors in the Art Institute’s collection are portals to different spaces: palaces, tombs, the unknown… We may not be able to enter these spaces through the gallery walls, but their decorative exteriors allow us to imagine what used to lie beyond the doorway.

To request an accessibility accommodation for an Art Institute program, please call (312) 443-3680 or send an e-mail to as far in advance as possible.

Please see the museum’s Accessibility page for more information.
