Admission actions

In the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, journalists and artists alike were excited by the idea that the daily front page resembled a patchwork quilt or a collage. Such an interest in the material form of the newspaper may seem quaint in our digital age. Join Woman’s Board Fellow Alice Boone to explore works of art that take inspiration—and even raw materials—from the newspaper.
