Meet in Gallery 100
Free with museum admission

While most of the works in our galleries of African art are unattributed, we are fortunate to be able to recognize and celebrate the work of Olowe of Ise, Abogunde of Ede, and others. Join museum educator Annie Morse for a discussion of these important pieces and the cultures from which they came.

Abogunde of Ede (active late 19th century), Yoruba, Female Figure with Offering Bowl, Late 19th century.
