Express Talk: Women of Surrealism

November 23, 2016
Meet in Griffin Court
Free with museum admission

Leonora Carrington, Léonor Fini, and Kay Sage are just three of the many women whose artistic practice took place squarely within the context of the Surrealist movement, though their work was often overshadowed by that of their male counterparts. In the last few decades, increasing attention has been paid to the haunting images they produced.
