In the early 1900s, sisters Emma Hodge and Jene Bell amassed a collection of more than 1,000 pieces of English and American ceramics in honor of their mother, Amelia Blanxius, a Swedish immigrant who raised her family in Chicago. Join educator Paulina Lopez for a 30-minute talk to explore these some of these unique pieces of American earthenware and to learn more about the women who collected them.
