Ryan Learning Center, Studio C

Vincent Van Gogh was so enamored by his painting of his bedroom at Arles that he painted two additional versions. Presented only at the Art Institute of Chicago, Van Gogh’s Bedrooms is the first exhibition dedicated to the three Bedroom paintings. This workshop will feature curatorial perspective on the upcoming exhibition, which explores the fascinating history of these three iconic paintings and their meaning to the artist. Participants will also learn about ideas for incorporating this content into different areas of the curriculum.

Exhibition Snapshot is a brand new program format that features guest artists, curators, and educators discussing special exhibitions.
