$100 per member

Bill Hinchliff leads visits to three prominent Chicago house museums. Begin at Frank Lloyd Wright’s Robie House, recently reopened after a multimillion-dollar restoration that brought it closer to its original 1910 condition. After lunch, visit H. H. Richardson’s Glessner House, an 1886 Romanesque building that prefigured modern architecture and that features a wealth of Glessner family artifacts. Continue to the Clarke House Museum (1836), Chicago’s oldest house with an equally historic and fascinating history. Conclude at the Jane Addams Hull-House Museum, also recently reopened after a complete overhaul and now featuring the very latest new interpretive techniques and technologies.
