Artist Talk: Laurie Simmons

September 20, 2016
Rubloff Auditorium

Laurie Simmons is a key figure in a circle of New York artists that made photography their exclusive means of expression in the late 1970s. For decades she has staged playful yet anxiety-provoking photographs of human surrogates populating a dollhouse world rife with longing, regret, and crises of identity.

Presented by the Society for Contemporary Art

Please note: The event has moved to Rubloff Auditorium.
