Artist-in-Residence: Garden Work

April 1, 2016
Modern Wing's Pritzker Garden
Free with museum admission

Alberto Aguilar, the 2015-2016 artist-in-residence for Museum Education, is spending a full day in the Modern Wing's Pritzker Garden. Using the museum’s garden tools, he will mark the gravel of an allotted space while making a drawing that traces his movements. Aguilar will take one break in the middle of the day to eat his lunch and rest before completing the task. Evidence of the work will remain until erased by the elements or the traffic of museum visitors.

Sponsored by the Rita and Jim Knox Endowment Fund for Museum Education.
