About the Artist
An internationally recognized figure amongst contemporary Chinese artists, John Zhang Long has experimented with a broad spectrum of mediums over the course of his career, including oil and ink painting, sculpture, and creating contemporary bronze wares. Since 1993, the artist has enjoyed a prolific period of creativity, and has had his work exhibited globally in many museums, galleries, and private collections across Asia, Europe and America. His KuangMo series has been collected by the Art Institute of Chicago.
