Art+ History

By examining works of art in their historical context, we can develop a more critical understanding of the past and the present. Join our cohort of educators and local experts to discover how using works of art as primary source documents can help students access their own lines of inquiry, engage in research strategies, and foster visual literacy.

Art+ Mini-Conferences feature a distinguished keynote speaker, dynamic sessions led by peer teachers and other professionals, and tested resources for incorporation into your curriculum. Lunch will be provided.

Chicago Public School and Big Shoulders Fund Schools teachers are eligible for substitute teacher reimbursement and waived tuition.
