Explore Ireland and the British Isles aboard the intimate vessel Le Diamant with David Stark, director of administration and interpretive media in the Art Institute’s Department of Museum Education. Embark in Honfleur and sail to the Isles of Scilly and their tropical Abbey Gardens. Then visit Cork’s Cobh Heritage Centre, beautiful Honan Chapel, and bustling English Market; Dublin’s National Museum and Trinity College, whose library houses the Book of Kells; Holyhead’s Conwy Castle and Bodnant Garden; Torosay Castle and Duart Castle on the Isle of Mull; Dunvegan Castle on the Isle of Skye; Kirkwall’s St. Magnus Cathedral; and the Orkney Islands’ Neolithic monuments, including the Ring of Brodgar and Skara Brae.
